DigiGo Social Media Week

About the EventDigiGo social media week is a week-long event containing three rounds. Round -1 and Round-2 would be elimination rounds. The first round would be a brand quiz on 24th November at 10:00 P.M. Top 50 teams from the brand quiz will qualify for Round-2. Round-2 would be a poster making competition. Winner of Top 15 teams from Round-2 will qualify for Round-3. Round-3 would be brand revitalization strategy event

Round 1: Brand Quiz
Details: There will be 25 questions in the quiz based on brand identification and brand connection. The duration of the quiz will be 20 minutes. Timings: 24th November, 10:00 PM to 10:20 PM

Round 2: Poster Making
Details: The Great Online Shopping Festival was created by Google India on 12 December 2012 in collaboration with a number of Indian online shopping portals. The concept of GOSF was that the online shopping sites would give heavy discounts for one day, in order to promote their sales.  GOSF: http://www.thegosf.com/   GOSF 2014: https://www.gosf.in/ 
Design a poster on the theme "GOSF 2014" (Assume you own an eCommerce website and you are one of the partner websites for GOSF 2014. Submit the poster at marketingclub@iimkashipur.ac.in

Round 3: MarkStrat
Details: Teams have to select one of the following products and design a marketing strategy to relaunch it in the market today
Product 1: Pager; Product 2: Orkut; Product 3: Radio. 
The entry should clearly explain the relaunch strategy mentioning the basic concepts of marketing and should serve as a launchpad to revive the product. The focus of the product should be relevant in today's world. The entry submission should be in PowerPoint presentation  (Max. 7 Slides) or video presentation (Max. 5 mins) or audio recording presentation (Max. 5 mins).  Deadline: December 1st, 2014, 11:59
